About the class

Create stunning hand-painted candles as gifts for loved ones during the holidays, or to adorn your seasonal dinner table. Come get cozy with hot tea or cocoa and learn the tricks for painting simple but beautiful designs on taper candles, no matter your skill level. Your materials fee covers all required materials, including a pair of taper candles (white or red), non-toxic paint, paintbrushes, and tissue paper to wrap your finished candles in for safe transport. Additional blank candles available for purchase from the instructor. No painting skill required!

About the instructor

Hannah Day

Instructor / Artist

Hannah Day is a Sonoma County artist who works primarily in the paper arts. She received her MFA from UH Manoa in printmaking, and her etchings are internationally shown and collected. Her personal practice also includes paper cutting, graphite, watercolor, and mixed media.
