About the class
Beginning Tai Chi for Arthritis was created by Dr Paul Lam, a retired medical doctor, with other medical and tai chi experts. It is based on Sun style Tai Chi and consists of gentle movements that strengthen muscles, improve flexibility and decrease pain and stiffness. Practicing this form has been shown to
improve balance and decrease falls. Instructors are certified by the Tai Chi for Health Institute founded by Dr Lam.
