One Day · Two EventS
Fix It, Swap It, Keep It Out of the Landfill
Join us for a single day of community reuse at the Sonoma Community Center. The Repair Fair pairs you with volunteers and professionals who will help fix the stuff you’d otherwise throw away – lamps, small furniture, textiles, small appliances, bikes, and more. If you can carry it in, we’ll try to fix it. For free.
At the same time, the Clothing Swap lets you pick out clean, unwanted clothes for new-to-you pieces. All genders and sizes welcome.
You don’t have to donate to take. Donations are not accepted the same day as the event.
Drop off at Refill Madness between May 11–13 at 500 W. Napa Street, STE 540.

What You Can Bring to Fix
Volunteers and specialized repair professionals will be on-hand to repair* your items. We ask that you stay with your item while it’s being fixed, so you can learn tips for future maintenance, how to shop for repairable goods, and even how to repair things yourself!

(Pre-registering allows us to prepare for your item!)
Lamps & Lighting
Rewiring, switches, sockets, shades. Bring the lamp plus any parts you still have.
Small Furniture
Wobbly chairs, loose joints, drawer glides, minor refinishing – anything you can carry in solo.
Textiles & Mending
Seams, tears, hems, buttons, patching. Clothes, bags, linens, and soft goods welcome.
Small Appliances
Toasters, blenders, coffee makers, kettles. Bring power cords and any accessories.
Bikes
Tune-ups, flats, brakes, shifting – a full station from Operation Bicycle’s team.
Plus More
Computer & tech equipment as well as metal objects. Welding services may not be available pending demand.
Please Note
*We cannot guarantee your item(s) will be repaired, depending on the existing damage or breakage, ability of volunteer fixers, and availability of materials for repair. Note: we cannot work on microwaves, repair screens on cell phones/computer devices, or perform any welding/brazing, but we are happy to refer you to professionals who can.
If you are in need of garment hemming, we require that you please pin your garment to the desired length before you arrive.

How the Swap Works
Drop off clean clothes the week before. Come back on May 16 and take home what you need. No donation required to take, all genders and sizes welcome.

Come to the Community Center
On Saturday, May 16 from 10am–1pm, take home whatever pieces you’d like – no tickets, no exchange ratio.

Everyone is welcome
You don’t have to donate to take. Show up, browse, and help keep clothing out of the landfill.
