Please contact Donna Dambach with any questions. (707) 595-0974

Celebrate Sonoma Valley’s LGBTQ+ trailblazers with an evening of storytelling, live music & community. Proceeds support Queer Art Club for LGBTQ+ youth.

About the Event

Celebrating Queer Trailblazers is an intergenerational gathering honoring LGBTQ+ leaders who have shaped cultural and civic life through courage, creativity, and community-building in Sonoma Valley and beyond.

The evening begins with a hosted reception with light appetizers, Passagio Wine and signature cocktail by Tular Vodka on the Patio featuring live music by Diana Daniel & Friends, community resource exposition, and the Sonoma County LGBTQ+ History Timeline.

Guests then move into the Secret Garden for a seated storytelling program featuring four trailblazers sharing their personal journeys of resilience, activism, art, and belonging with moderated dialogue and audience reflection.

Join us for the after party at Pangloss Cellars from 7-9 PM.

Guests 21+ will be able to purchase Pangloss wines by the glass while enjoying the tunes of DJ Page Hodel.

Pangloss Cellars is located at 35 East Napa Street.

A Night That Gives Forward

Proceeds from the evening benefit the Queer Art Club at the Sonoma Community Center – nurturing creative expression, belonging, and leadership amongLGBTQ+ youth in Sonoma Valley.

By honoring those who paved the way, we invest directly in the next generation of artists, leaders, and changemakers.

Class FAQ

We ask that you notify us at least 10 days in advance of a class if you need to cancel your registration. You may cancel by phone or email and we will gladly offer you a refund or credit toward a future class. If you cancel with less than 10 days’ notice, we will not be able to provide refunds, due to our contractual obligations and material purchases for each class.

Sometimes, the Sonoma Community Center has to cancel a class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, such as a natural disaster or health emergency. If this happens and we do not offer a reschedule date, you will be refunded 100% of your registration fee (minus the payment processing and services fee), or credit towards a future class. If we are able to offer a reschedule date but you are unable to make the new date, we will gladly offer credit towards a future class.

All credits must be used within 1 year.

You can view our full class policies and guidelines here.

The Sonoma Community Center is committed to creating an accessible learning environment. If you require any special considerations(medical, physical, learning) please share them with Sean Baskin, Program Associate, by emailing him at [email protected] so that he can forward them to the relevant Program Director and Instructor.
