Sonoma Community Center is Seeking Community Input
Sonoma, California. In 2027, the Sonoma Community Center will celebrate 75 years as a hub for the arts and culture of Sonoma’s thriving creative community. Over the course of its history, the Center has remained a beloved institution dedicated to providing rich and rewarding cultural experiences for the people of the Sonoma Valley.
As the Center looks ahead to the next 75 years, it is inviting residents to share their vision for what the Center can become. “We are asking our Sonoma friends and neighbors to help us imagine the possibilities that we can reach for, and to ensure that we are in tune with the needs and aspirations of the people we serve,” said Vanessa Glamore Rognlein, Executive Director of the Center.
Since its founding in 1952, the Sonoma Community Center has presented a variety of experiences from art-making classes to arts experiences in ceramics, culinary, dance/movement, drawing, fiber arts, painting, printmaking, and a variety of youth, teen, and family programs. Its signature events like the Chili Bowl, Winter Art Market, and Trashion Fashion have become “must-see” community events.
The Sonoma Community Center survey can be found at SonomaCommunityCenter.org and can be completed in 3-5 minutes. The deadline for submission is December 14, 2026. For questions, please contact Vanessa Glamore Rognlien at [email protected] or call 707-931-4166.
