| | Impact Stories: Meet Alexis Navas & His Art |
|
| | Alexis Navas is a rising senior at Sonoma Valley High School with interests in architecture, painting, drawing, and tattoo art. He volunteered for the MUSE 2024 event and expressed his interest in advancing his art training. Since then, the 17-year-old has enrolled in classes at the Center and regularly attends painting and drawing classes for adults. Currently, he is an intern at the Center, working on special projects and his AP Art Portfolio with support from the instructors at the Center.
“The Sonoma Community Center has really helped me stay focused and disciplined with my art. Being in such a positive and friendly environment has pushed me to grow. I’ve learned so many new techniques in my art classes and how to take my work to the next level. In the future, I’ll use these skills to keep growing as an artist.” |

| | Consider a gift to Sonoma Community Center for Giving Tuesday |
|
| As part of our End of Year Fundraising efforts, generous community members have stepped forward to help jump-start our giving with a match on all donations made this Giving Tuesday. Our goal for December 2, 2025, is to raise $7,000, and up to $3,500 of that will be matched dollar for dollar. Your support on this day will make every gift go twice as far.
If you give $10 to the Center, we receive $20. If you give $100, we receive $200. Every dollar you donate is doubled until we reach $7,000, but only on Giving Tuesday!
To have your donation matched, use the link below between now and Tuesday night at midnight. Your gift will be automatically matched. |
