About the class

Join Kelly in the studio for a special evening of creating handmade holiday block-printed ornaments! Participants will be introduced to relief carving using mini rubber blocks and craft foam. Explore how to use these surfaces to ink up a variety of ornaments and gift tags all made from paper and wood. You will walk away with an assortment of inspiring handcrafted goodies for you to creatively decorate your home and gifts this holiday season! Participants will keep all of their own handmade blocks, and gain the knowledge to keep printing at home.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of artistic ability. No prior printmaking experience is required. This is a fun, guided process which will take you step by step. The class materials fee includes use of all tools, paper, ink and ephemera.

Please note: This class requires some hand dexterity to maneuver the carving tool. Participants should feel comfortable using tools with sharp blades and edges.
