About the class
Join Chef Gerardo Diaz for an authentic Mazatlan cooking class at Sonoma Academy’s teaching kitchen. Learn to prepare traditional Mexican dishes like sopes, empanadas, and churros from recipes passed down by his grandmother. Work alongside other families to create and enjoy a delicious feast, complete with beverages from refreshing agua fresca to cerveza. Take home recipes to recreate these cherished dishes in your own kitchen.
