Zhiwei Tu, a distinguished artist born in 1951 in Guangdong, China, has had a prolific career since earning his master’s degree from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. His accolades began with a Gold Prize at the 1987 World Cultural Convention in Algeria. After furthering his studies at Drake University, he won numerous awards in the United States, including the Best Award at the Iowa College Salon XII and multiple medals from the Oil Painters of America (OPA). Notably, he was listed in the Directory of Chinese Famous Artist in 1996, became a Master Signature Member of the OPA in 1999, and was honored by the Chinese Outstanding-Artist Research Society in 2000. The “Zhiwei Tu Art Museum” was inaugurated in his honor in 2006 by the Shiaoguan City Government in Guangdong Province, China. His mastery in oil painting was recognized with Gold Medals in both the OPA Western and Eastern Regional Exhibitions and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the OPA in 2013. His legacy was further cemented with a Gold Medal at the World Masters Exhibition in 2014

He has actively participated in many shows and exhibitions. His exquisite paintings have garnered many awards in the exhibitions and competitions.
He has been the featured artist in a number of issues of art magazines. He resides in San
Francisco with his wife and daughter.

Eric Fei Guan is a distinguished artist educated at Qingdao University of Science and Technology and Qingdao Institute of Education, with advanced studies in mural painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is affiliated with prestigious art organizations such as the Portrait Society of America, Oil Painters of America, and the California Art Club. His work has been recognized in numerous exhibitions and awards, including the California Art Club’s Annual Gold Medal Exhibitions, the Sonoma Plein Air events, and the Oil Painters of America’s National Juried Exhibitions. Notably, he received the Realism Honorable Mention at the 29th OPA National Juried Exhibition and was a “Selected at 50” award winner in the International Portrait Competition by the Portrait Society of America. His accolades also include finalist positions in the Portrait Society of America’s Members Only Competitions and multiple awards in regional and national exhibitions, showcasing his significant contributions to the field of traditional oil painting.
Richard Yang graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1987. He continued his studies in graphic design and photography at the Art Institute of San Francisco where he worked as a photographer for nearly 20 years. Richard founded his Yang Art Studio in Sacramento, California in 2010. He’s since been teaching painting at the same time as an independent artist. He is currently a member of the American Oil Painters Association, a member of the Yolo Art Center and the Sacramento Fine Art Center. His works can be found in Facebook as “Richard Yang” and in Instagram under “yangartstudio100”.
Born in Suzhou, China, in 1962, Lee Rue has a MFA degree from Academy of Art University, San Francisco in 90’s. Lee’s fulfilling his childhood dream as an artist from his family tradition. Although he spent most of his early years in designs and other works, his passion to be creative and to find exquisite and unique ways of art never fades. He started his career as a designer and taught many years of art, design and lighting techniques in FIDM, Academy of Art University and UC Berkeley Extension in San Francisco. His painting style combines realistic basics with impressionistic colors, strokes and light. His subjects are animals, especially horses, western, the American heritages as well as landscape and portraits including live-model paintings. He loves the old western genre with untamed wild west natures. He often provides paintings with romantic stories as well as dramas.
He also had special joint exhibitions with four other renowned master painters in YoloArts and Silicone Valley Asian Art Center, and Sonoma City community Cent (in August 2024), in California. Lee’s painting, Lee has participated C. M. Russell Museum’s exhibition and auction, the Miniature Masterpiece Show and Hold Your Horses Exhibition at Phippen’s Museum in 2024. Many of his paintings have been nationally juried into OPA, AIS and other associations’ national exhibitions.
