About Print Lab

Roll up your sleeves and join us for another evening of P R I N T  L A B!

Our mission each month is to explore an affordable and creative arts technique with our community. Print Lab is not a class, but an experience. We welcome you to print, play and experiment with a short guided art activity to create something unique in our communal studio!

This month, in celebration of Lunar New Year, we will explore a fun new way to bring nature into the home. Decorative flowers and blossoms represent good luck and new beginnings. This symbol of prosperity is a welcome way to start the new year! We will show you how to make simple colorful blossoms by creatively monoprinting on tissue paper and attaching these delicate papers to twigs and branches. The results can be beautiful and abstract. This easy and imaginative craft approach to tabletop floral design is something you can keep and enjoy in your living or work space. Come try it out with us in our art studio!

Beginners of all artistic levels are welcome. No prior printmaking experience is necessary. Enrollment for Print Lab will close when we reach full capacity. Print Lab relies on sliding scale community donations to help cover the cost of the activity and refreshments provided. Each donation you make is greatly appreciated. It supports and engages our community to offer this kind of affordable programming for all.
