About the class
This class is perfect for beginning, intermediate, and all-level students who are eager to move, express, and imagine. Each week, we will explore new elements of performance and choreography, drawing on techniques from jazz, ballet, modern, and contemporary dance. This class will help students feel stronger and more comfortable in their bodies, aligning them with their natural expression and authentic movement. No prior dance experience is necessary to feel at home in this class.
Required Supplies:
Yoga pants, sweats, leotards, tights, or booty shorts will work fine—wear whatever you find comfortable to move in. Dance shoes such as ballet slippers, jazz shoes, grippy socks, or barefoot shoes are acceptable. Dress in layers, as it can go from chilly to warm quickly! Being dressed and ready for class is part of the experience and encourages focus and participation.
