PRINT LAB – Wil Smith’s Fresh Prints

Ages: Open to all, Family Friendly (Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian)

Cost is $20 per garment

About the lab
Roll up your sleeves and join us for P R I N T L A B every 4th Friday of the month!
Each month we will explore a different technique. Print, play and experiment with a method we find intriguing. We want to print with you in community!
This month, join us for WIL SMITH’S FRESH PRINTS
August Print Lab will introduce direct to garment linocut printing LIVE on our studio press! William Smith, our Fall linocut printmaking instructor, will share his artist blocks, materials and methods of preparing garments for printing carved relief images to t-shirts, tote bags and loose fabric.
New t-shirts and tote bags will be available for $20 each OR save $5 if you bring your own apparel to print on! Printable items must be flat (no buttons, zippers, pockets or pleats, etc.) 100% cotton has the best results.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. No prior printmaking experience is necessary. Enrollment will close when we reach full capacity.
Cost for this event is $20 per garment or $15 if you bring your own to print on. Save $5 per garment! Payments received are greatly appreciated to help cover the cost of the activity. Light refreshments and drinks will be provided.
This month we will meet upstairs in our Print Studio, Room 208!
Please bring your cash donation or scan our QR code for Venmo upon arrival. You will be checked in and print in order of guest arrival! Guests who would like to watch without participating are welcome to attend!
