The Fiber & Three-Dimensional Arts department at the Sonoma Community Center provides educational opportunities, experiences, and events in a variety of textile and three-dimensional arts such as sewing, knitting, dyeing, basketry, beading, and jewelry. We are consistently working to improve our offerings and studio space to meet the broad needs of our community.

weekly fiber arts happy hour
The Center’s weekly FREE Fiber Arts Happy Hour takes place every Wednesday from 4-6 PM. Bring a project that you’re working on, or just come and enjoy the company of other fiber arts lovers; this is a weekly opportunity to play, explore, and connect!
No experience or skill is required; newbies and friends are encouraged to join. You are welcome to bring materials or supplies you no longer need, and something to eat and/or drink.
All participants are welcome to explore and make use of the resources and materials we offer in the Fiber Arts Studio.
fiber arts open studio
The Community Center’s Fiber Arts Department offers access to a spacious, well-lit studio. Use of the Fiber Art room is limited to dry and clean art forms; use of paints, inks, clay, etc. can be accommodated in one of the Center’s other art studios.
Open Studio hours are held Monday through Saturday between 9am to 5pm, and are subject to availability depending on class and room rental schedule, as well as holidays. The Open Studio is a per day fee. To schedule or ask questions, please reach out to Jill Valavanis at (707) 938-4626 or jill@sonomacommunitycenter.org.
