Sonoma Community Center’s biggest annual fundraising event, The MUSE Gala, will honor the true force behind the nonprofit’s enduring legacy– YOU! The collective YOU that is our community: the founders, visionaries, artists, supporters, and changemakers. MUSE 2026 is Saturday, August 15, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at the Center.
To celebrate those decades, during the cocktail hour, guests will step back through time to sip iconic cocktails from the 60s and 80s, create keepsakes from the 70s and 90s, and even visit Beervana, our craft beer bar from the 2000s. The night will culminate in a dinner al fresco set in 1952, the year of the Center’s founding. The dress code is “chic time travel”-dress to impress from your favorite decade, from the fifties to now.
The catered dinner by the girl and the fig will offer a decadent meal beginning with a wedge salad followed by a choice of roasted filet mignon with mushroom jus, butter whipped potatoes, and English peas; lightly cured king salmon with lemon beurre blanc, butter whipped potatoes, and English peas; or a summer fresh corn polenta with oven dried tomatoes, roasted wild mushrooms, and basil pesto. Dessert will be a delicious Chantilly Berry Shortcake.
During dinner, guests will enjoy a variety show à la Ed Sullivan. Our BIG SHOW will feature local entertainers and world-class artists. It will be a night to remember, with a few surprises and a lot of community spirit.
