| Home, I’m Darling by Laura WadeOpening Friday, June 5 through June 21 How happily married are the happily married? Home, I’m Darling is a dark comedy about the quest to be the perfect 1950’s housewife. Judy has Johnny’s slippers waiting for him when he arrives home from work, the kitchen’s clean, the rooms are aired…but don’t be fooled – this isn’t the 1950’s, but a 21st-century ‘arrangement’ between the two of them. See what happens when Judy and Johnny try to “live the dream” with clothes, furniture, and a (faulty) fridge from the 1950’s, but with 21st-century problems. Directed by Jenny Hollingworth. |
