An Afternoon or An Overnight at the Scream House Update:1 PM Departure has one spot left! There is space in the 1:45 & 2:30 PM DeparturesOvernight has only 3 spots left!Spring Hill Estate served as the backdrop for the unforgettable final forty-two minutes of the horror classic. Portraying the home of Stu Macher (Matthew Lillard), it is also known to fans as 261 Turner Lane in Woodsboro. The estate stands today much as it did in the ’90s, a true time capsule of the film’s chilling finale.
While many of Sonoma County’s SCREAM locations can be visited or viewed from the street, the Macher House is an exception. Privately owned and situated on a sprawling estate, it is not accessible to the public. This makes any opportunity to tour the home exceedingly rare, with an overnight stay even rarer. As of now, the October 30 event with the Sonoma Community Center marks the final chance for fans to experience this iconic location, as the owners have no plans to host future visits. |
