Beginning Tai Chi for Arthritis was created by Dr. Paul Lam, a retired medical doctor, with other medical and tai chi experts. It is based on Sun style Tai Chi and consists of gentle movements that strengthen muscles, improve flexibility and decrease pain and stiffness. Practicing this form has been shown to improve balance and decrease falls. Instructors are certified by the Tai Chi for Health Institute founded by Dr. Lam.

Cathy Williamson
Cathy Williamson has been practicing tai chi for more than 20 years, has personally trained with Dr Paul Lam and is a board certified instructor with the Tai Chi for Health Institute.
Bill McNamara, also a board certified instructor with the Tai chi for Health Institute, will be assistant and substitute.
