Fall Clothing
Swap
In partnership with Refill Madness – the biggest clothing swap in Sonoma Valley, twice a year. Bring a bag, take what you love, keep good clothes out of the landfill.
Exhibition Details
Free clothes. Zero waste.
One Day Only.
Sonoma Community Center partners with Refill Madness to bring Sonoma Valley its largest clothing swap, twice a year. Fashion accounts for roughly 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions every year, plus an enormous amount of landfill waste. Swapping is one of the easiest ways to shrink that footprint – you go home with clothes you’ll actually wear, and the things you don’t wear find someone who will.
Clothing, shoes and accessories in all sizes, genders and styles are warmly welcomed.
Two ways to take part.
Drop off clothes Sept 26–30, then come shop on Oct 3. You don’t have to donate to take — everyone is welcome either way.
How to donate, start to finish
1
Drop off your clothes
Saturday, September 26 – Wednesday, September 30. Bring donations to Refill Madness, 500 W. Napa Street – next door to Scandia Bakery. Please pre-sort by type of clothing before you arrive. Nothing is accepted after Wednesday so the team can sort for Swap Day.
2
Come to the swap
Saturday, October 3, 10 AM – 1 PM, in the back patio at the Community Center. Every item is free. Bring your own reusable bags and take as much as you like – no tickets, no exchange ratio. Please don’t bring donations on Swap Day; bring your friends and family instead.
3
Everything finds a home
All must go. Leftover clothing is donated to Sonoma Valley charities based on what they need, and the remainder goes to local Sonoma Valley thrift stores.
