| Faces of the Center- Membership EditionMeet Jeff Gaines! |
|
| | Jeff Gaines considers himself new to Sonoma, having moved here “just” four years ago. His first introduction to Sonoma Community Center was the Trashion Fashion Show, followed by an invitation to the MUSE, which he and his partner attended.
“SCC is a place of discovery and exploration for people of all ages,” he said. “It’s truly a ‘community center,’ which I love.”
Andrews Hall is a big attraction for Jeffrey. He enjoys that we rent our spaces to groups like Sonoma International Film Festival and Sonoma Arts Live. “I love community theatre!” He said. |

Jeff also noted the importance of space at the Center for organizations like the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance, KHR McNeely Family Foundation, and Crescent Montessori School. “It is the community aspect of the Center that really attracts me and makes me want to be a member.”
Seen above in a ceramics wheel class, we asked Jeff what else he might like to try at the Center- something new. He said he plans to try his hand at printmaking in the future! Thanks for your support, Jeffery. |
