Author Joshua Farrell gathers fellow Sonomans to present a staged reading of his book, The Sonoma Police Report, at the Sonoma Community Center. On Saturday, March 14, at 7 PM, the multimedia performance will take place on stage in Andrews Hall. Tickets are $25.

The 2026 Trashion Fashion Runway Show is an annual fundraiser for the Sonoma Community Center, dazzling audiences with both matinee and evening performances on Saturday, April 18, at the Sonoma Veterans Hall. Craft in the Valley, a curated exhibition by Simon Blattner and Barbara Wells, opens January 9, 2026. The show features works by 24 local artists and celebrates the creativity, mastery, and meaning of handmade craft in all its forms. This show honors the role of craft as both functional art and a vessel for personal, cultural, and community expression.

Sonoma Community Center will once again host the Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 27, at the Sonoma Veterans Memorial Hall. Doors will open at 3:00 p.m. and food will be served until it runs out. This event is produced in partnership with Sonoma’s Rotary Clubs. There is no cost to attend, but donations are gratefully accepted to help offset the cost of producing the event.

The Winter Art Market is one of the Sonoma Community Center’s largest annual fundraisers. This year’s event takes place Friday through Sunday, December 5–7, and will open with a special SCC members-only early shopping hour on Friday from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

The centerpiece of the event is the striking 12-foot public altar, created by local sculptor Jim Callahan, featured in the front garden. This year, the Center will also feature a display of handmade butterflies that signify the hopes and dreams of our community.
