Cory Infinite will be a special guest judge at this year’s Trashion Fashion Runway Show. He is a self-taught fashion designer from Kansas City, Missouri, who creates clothes from recycled materials and sometimes trash. Ever since graduating high school in 2020, Cory has built a following of over 830K across Instagram and TikTok and has worked with brands and musicians such as Converse, Ripley’s Believe it or not, Erykah Badu, A$AP Rocky, UFO361, Yung Lean, Teezo Touchdown, Magdalena Bay, 347 Aidan, and more.

During the April Sonoma Art Walk, we are hosting our opening reception for Barbies & Bags: Gallery 212 Exhibit and Auction Opening Night Reception! We will have bites from Chef Erin Shallat. The Causeway Gallery has posters on display from Trashion’s past. Bidding will begin for the dolls and wearable art in the exhibit.

Explore ceramic arts at your own pace with classes ranging from beginner wheel throwing to advanced sculptural techniques. Our experienced instructors guide students through every step of the creative process in a welcoming, well-equipped studio.

There are two shows, a family-friendly matinee at 1:30 PM, featuring all of the youth entries, and a later 5 PM show (not all youth participate in the second show) with a Bubble Reception to follow. As of now, the matinee is close to a sellout. If your goal is to see the creative kids and teens, make sure you don’t wait until the last minute to purchase your tickets.

Welcome to the Year of the Fire Dragon! Saturday’s third annual Lunar New Year Free Community Celebration is this Saturday, and it looks like the weather will be beautiful. The forecast calls for 75 degrees and sun.

We are still in need of volunteers for this weekend’s Chili Bowl Fundraiser. On Thursday, February 26, we need bowl washers to help us wash and sort the bowls. For Saturday, most of our volunteer needs are for the Dinner Service at 5 PM. We have jobs like bartenders, bussers, and dessert servers. Today marks the start of Lunar New Year celebrations. In the Lunar Calendar, time moves through both the circle of 12 animals and the 5 elements. It takes 60 years for an element and animal to align again, which means the last Year of the Fire Horse was 1966.
